American Pulverizer Company Three Phase Expansion

American Pulverizer Company is expanding their manufacturing complex in St. Louis, Missouri to 11 acres. The additional acreage will be utilized in a three phase expansion over the coming years. 

 Phase One / New Offices

May 2007, American Pulverizer will relocate its headquarters to a new two (2) story, 17,500 square foot office located at 1319 Macklind Avenue. The facility will house management, engineering, sales, parts, purchasing, customer service, programming, and IT department to meet the company’s growing customer base.

Shipping and Receiving

Shipping and receiving for the company will be relocated to a larger, more efficient location with approximately 35,000 square feet of inside storage space. New inventory control systems, storage racks, and material handling equipment will allow for faster delivery. Three (3) shipping bays are being added to expedite shipments and meet customer needs. Four (4) additional material access doors will enable items to move through shipping and receiving without delay.

 Phase Two / Plant Expansion

By November 2007, American Pulverizer will have completed a 32,000 square foot addition to its existing manufacturing facility. The addition will house a variety of new CNC boring mills, lathes, and machining centers to ensure quality and quick turn around. The crane capacity of this new facility is also going to be upgraded to meet the demands of today’s market.

 Phase Three / Fabrication Expansion

The American Pulverizer Company Fabrication shop will be expanded by approximately 12,000 square feet for improved material flow and adding efficiency. This expansion is targeted by 2009.

The improvements we are making to the American Pulverizer manufacturing complex will enable APCO to begin our second century of serving customers and clients globally in the scrap, solid waste, aggregate, plastic, coal, and wood recycling industries to the highest standard. As always, we are committed to stocking a substantial inventory of consumable wear parts for all of our American Pulverizer Company customers.

2004 Exporter of the Year!

American Pulverizer Company was recently named 2004 Exporter Of The Year for the State of Missouri. Recent machine installations were placed in the following countries: Africa, China, Italy, Mexico, Canada, Korea, Singapore, Thailand and England.
